Home and Property Real Estate Ltd. was born out of a simple but powerful idea: real estate agents thrive when they’re supported, empowered, and part of a true community. Founded in 2017 by John Zwart and Devin Hulett—two dedicated real estate professionals—the Brokerage was created to offer the kind of collaboration and guidance they found lacking in the industry.

Early in their careers, John and Devin experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to get a real estate business off the ground. They saw countless agents struggle with the steep learning curve, unclear pathways to success, and a general lack of meaningful support. Rather than accepting that as the norm, they came together to combine their individual strengths and build something better—not just for themselves, but for others, too.

What started as a partnership between two like-minded agents evolved into Home and Property Real Estate Ltd., a fully virtual, boutique Brokerage that now serves agents across Waterloo Region, Wellington County, Hamilton, the Greater Toronto Area, and beyond. From the beginning, their mission has been crystal clear: to ensure every agent at the Brokerage succeeds.
